Basel-based Israeli Flutist Anat Nazarathy is an avid and active performer of music from a wide range of periods and styles. She is a member of Meitar Ensemble, Israel's foremost ensemble specialized in contemporary music, and is also an enthusiastic performer of early music on historical instruments. Anat holds a Master's degree in performance from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the class of Prof. Pirmin Grehl, and a specialized Masters degree in performance of early music form the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, class of Mark Hantaï. She completed her bachelor's degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the class of Prof. Yossi Arnheim.
