Sebastian Zinca has conducted the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, the Tapiola Sinfonietta, the Jyväskylä Sinfonia, the North Czeck Philharmonic, and the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic. In 2019, he made his opera debut in Helsinki with a production of Handel’s Alcina. He won the President’s Prize at the 2018 European Music Academy, and in 2019 was a conducting fellow at the Aspen Music Festival. He is currently finishing his studies at the Sibelius Academy as a student of Sakari Oramo He earned his bachelor’s degree in double bass at the Juilliard School.
